Ladies Amateur Open
Tuesday 15th July 2008
THE COMPETITION
18 Holes Scratch strokeplay competition with handicap prizes. Played from the Red tees (5534yds, SSS 73) with a 1st & 10th tee start.
Coffee & Pastries on arrival Complimentary range balls & course planner Following play, a three course luncheon (inc. wine) will be hosted by Anne Steans, Chart Hills Lady Captain
THE CHAMPIONThe player returning the lowest gross score will be the winner. In the event of a tie the competition will be decided by 'sudden death' play off
PRIZESThe Open Champion & Runner-Up will receive prizes The trophy will remain on display at Chart Hills, engraved with the winner's name. 1st, 2nd & 3rd Nett prizes will be awarded for Silver (>20 hcp) & Bronze (21-36 hcp) divisions If necessary, 2nd & 3rd Prizes will be decided by 'count-back'. Fun prizes awarded for 'Straightest Drive' & 'Nearest the Pin'.
RULES OF ENTRYPlay will be under the rules of the R&A in conjunction with Chart Hills Golf Club. Please note competitors are not permitted to use ride-on buggies. Entries are limited in number and accepted on a first come first served basis. Entry will therefore close when full.
COMPETITION ENTRIESOnly official entry forms will be accepted.
The entry fee of £45 should be forwarded along with the entry form to the address below.
Junior Open

THE COMPETITION36 Holes Scratch Stroke play Competition 'KCGU Junior Order of Merit Event' (A.M round 'Telegraph Qualifying') Played from the Blue tees (6449yds, SSS 71) – Course Architect: Nick Faldo
THE CHAMPIONThe player returning the lowest two round aggregate scratch score will be the winner. In the event of a tie the competition will be decided by 'sudden death' play off.
PRIZESThe winner will receive a replica trophy & prize. The trophy will remain on display at Chart Hills, engraved with the winner's name. Additional prizes for runner-up and 3rd place. If necessary, runner-up and 3rd prize will be decided by 'count-back'.

HANDICAP LIMITEntries will be accepted from players of 14 handicap and below. Entries are limited in number and therefore higher handicaps may be subject to ballot.
COMPETITION ENTRIESOnly official entry forms will be accepted. Entry fee of £40.00 (inc. Bacon Roll on arrival, Light lunch & Range Balls) Cheques payable to 'Chart Hills Golf Club Ltd.' Payment should be forwarded along with the entry form to the address below.
